Take one older, tatted, & cantankerous coffee shop owner who has sworn off relationships (let alone one 13 years his junior) and mix it with a flirty, confident & fun (but grounded) young guy, and you've got quite the nice setup. Chris and Lance take friends with benefits to a whole new level, and they're absolutely ridiculous in thinking any such arrangement will remain casual.

Though totally understandable, Chris's reasons for keeping himself from getting attached drove me a bit batty. Loved Lance. I could completely see his appeal; his easy going manner and friendly nature drawing Chris in despite Chris's best efforts at resisting. For me, this was not as emotionally heavy as the previous installments, but be reassured that the high steam factor continues, and a wholly satisfying ending awaits the reader.
