The biggest mystery of this book is what is happening outside the compound that is so dystopian that the contestants would put up with what happens inside it to get away from the real world. Or, if there even is anything happening outside aside from the banal mundanity of real life.
This was interesting, tense, enraging and fun. Tom was awful, I can see why his life outside was in shambles. Lily, as blah as she was at times, was also compelling and a good narrator for the season.
I know this book will stick with me for a bit; I need to talk about it with so many people!!
