It's clear from the beginning of this book what has happened, but the how is very much less clear. If you've ever had a horrible boss, this work place psychological thriller will likely hit pretty close to home for you. It's sad how much power many bosses are given and its scary what they do with it. This is true in The Promotion, and Hurst has portrayed this well. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
