this is definitely my favorite of the series thus far. I read them a bit out of order and haven’t been able to top Hooked. I adored that book of the series.
BUT JULIAN. i loved Julian and Yasmin. He embodies a villain and a villain that falls deep and fast for the girl. I loved the aspects Emily chose to bring in from Aladdin. As my favorite Disney movie i was worried i would be disappointed but i absolutely wasn’t.
She did a fabulous job and showing the similarities between the movie and keeping it her own as well.
Yasmin coming in at the end IYKYK. i was like YAS GIRL.
If you imagine the scene in aladdin where Jasmine is in the red outfit - make that scene an entire book, spicier and a great plot line and BOOM you’ll have this book.
I was super happy and pleased with this one.
