Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary

5.0

Some basic human characteristics don't seem to change. There have always been kids like Ramona, Beezus, & Henry Huggins and there always will be. Beverly Cleary's characters are just as relatable today as they were when the book was first published. For a child, it's a relief to know that there are other kids who are imaginative, smart, but prone to misunderstandings. For parents, it's a relief to know that there are children, like their own, who are imaginative, smart, but prone to misunderstandings! That's what makes this series such a gem, we can all relate and we feel better knowing that there are other people out there who get what we are going through.
