The World Deserves My Children by Natasha Leggero
2.0

I listened to this on audiobook, which is one of my favorite mediums for memoirs and the like, especially when read by the authors themselves. I enjoy Leggero's standup, and if you're familiar with her then this book has much of what you would expect from Legerro. She has some funny observations and quips about parenting, but there is a lot of repetition (she didn't know if she even wanted kids, it was hard to get pregnant after 40, she only likes her own kid, etc). The main reason I was interested in the book- her argument that republican, climate change denier parents can't be the only ones having kids or our world is truly doomed- was summed up in a chapter and that was by far the most interesting chapter to me. So while I did enjoy the listen, I wouldn't really recommend it unless you're already a Legerro fan and enjoy her stuff.
