— an interesting and entertaining read!! while i do have my complaints about things like the fact that it was almost impossible to tell it took place in the 1960s without the author having to blatantly write out pop culture references from the era, the story itself was intruiging. carmillas relationship with her professor is very strange and i didnt enjoy how they attempted to rekindle it into something familial, but i love carmilla and lauras relationship with one another!! its thrilling and the characters are relatable, and i will always eat up erotic lesbian vampires mhm
