It’s a classic, so not a long review.
I’ve read this before, a long time ago. The honest truth is that it holds up a lot better than I thought. Perhaps it was just me being the age I was, but I want as impressed with the writing as I thought I should have been. Now, being older, I have a much larger appreciation for why Verne did what he did. Plus I’m a paleontology nerd, so it was fun:
