4.25 🌟 wow wow wow i really enjoyed this! unlike every summer after, this was a beautiful story from start to finish. mature characters, with deep conversations who are good at communicating? who knew? i will admit the ending is a bit iffy for me, but this was still great! buying a physical copy asap!

P.S. SPOILERS FOR ENDING:
i was not the biggest fan of how the author brushed over elliot’s trauma of being SA’d. it didn’t seem to macy like that was what happened, either, it was instead brought out as elliot cheating on macy. i wish they would’ve acknowledged that elliot was blackout drunk, couldn’t consent, and therefore, was SA’d. it just makes me sad because male victims of SA are barely acknowledged as is.
