Enjoyable, though the last 100 pages get to be a bit much with Margaret's unrelenting jealousy and certainty that this is God's plan. I'm sure it illustrates something accurate about the period, but it was annoying to read about so repetitively. Minor, but also annoying, the map didn't have the names of towns mentioned in the story and it would have been more useful for the lineage chart to go another generation.
