Into the Pit by Scott Cawthon, Elley Cooper

2.0

i hate to be this person, but MAN, i couldn't help but notice there was almost an underlying sense of mockery with the female characters, millie and sarah, versus oswald? oswald was praised as this hero with little-to-no consequences at the end of his story, meanwhile the two girls characters faced horrendous, gory punishments. millie's character was so entirely realistic; no kid acts the way she does and has the thought process she does, especially at her age. i understand "why" the female characters had the negative traits they had, but it still felt a little wrong to me that oswald's character was deemed practically a hero.
