Quite a holiday read but an enjoyable read at that. Very easy going. There wasn’t much subtlety or nuance and it felt like the moral of the story was being thrust down your throat. Some things don’t add up, like how Lou made it home at the end having taken the pill when he was severely injured. Lou is an insufferable character and Gabe is just strange.
