Mother for Dinner by Shalom Auslander

5.0

4.5, only because I can be a little squeamish and there were a few parts in there that were.. special.

But honestly, it was such a joy to read. Weird? Yes. Funny? Yes. Thought-provoking? Yes. Mildly disturbing? Yes. But an absolute joy.

I already loved Foreskin's Lament and this book is now another incentive to just devour Auslander's entire body of work. Puns intended.
