Auggie is a hopeless romantic and Henry is just starting his life over. Auggie likes simplicity, quiet nights, and hanging out with his friends. Henry is accustomed to burnout, long hours, and luxury.

On the outset, they shouldn't get along. But they can't help being completely drawn to each other. Even with a rocky start.

The closer they become, the more Auggie wants to start building a relationship. But that's the last thing Henry wants. Henry has baggage that's hard to let go of. But Auggie is willing to wait him out - to wait for Henry, because he knows Henry is it for him.

Henry grows the most through this book, in all the good ways. His priorities shift to adapt to the person he wants to be, not the person he thinks he has to be. And I love that. I love that so much. But let's be honest, I relate real hard to a mid-life starting over story.

Something else I'm enjoying is seeing little snippets of characters we've seen in passing previously. I feel like we're building up to another potential series, and I'm here for it!

But for now, we have more Big Bull Mechanics who need to find their happy endings.
