Baby Proof by Emily Giffin

2.0

I'm not even going to try to defend it, Emily Giffin's "Baby Proof" is a hundred percent chick-lit. It was a joke present from my mom and has been sitting on my shelf for several years. It came after her moaning about wanting to be a grandparent and both my husband and I, standing our ground, firmly planning on staying childless.

It's not a terrible book. It poses a good relationship dilemma. The two main characters married with the commitment to remain childless, but the marriage matures, the husband finds himself wanting children. The wife remains firm in her desire to remain childless. What happens when a couple finds that they are still in love, but have different versions of their future?
