Fangirl, Vol. 2: The Manga by Rainbow Rowell, Sam Maggs

emotional funny lighthearted fast-paced

"No," Cath said, "Seriously. Look at you. You’ve got your shit together, you’re not scared of anything. I’m scared of everything. And I’m crazy. Like maybe you think I’m a little crazy, but I only ever let people see the tip of my crazy iceberg. Underneath this veneer of slightly crazy and socially inept, I’m a complete disaster.”

I’m very much enjoying this Manga adaptation! Volume 2 is just as good as the first one and delves deeper into Cath’s story. It was so comforting to be back in her world again, I forgot how much I missed her nerdiness and unlikely friendship with Reagan! The volume quite literally leaves off on a mean cliffhanger, but readers of the book will know what comes next. Nevertheless, I’m super excited for the next volume to come out later this year!
