You know what it's a good thing somebody I trust recced this to me or I would have given up pretty quick lmao. The first section of this book is like a test you have to slog thru to get to the actual good, interesting plot.

I kind of feel like this might be one of those series where the author wrote the least interesting story possible for an incredible setting BUT I'm actually pretty excited to see what happens in the 2nd and 3rd entries.
