Overall an enjoyable book, but slightly disappointing compared to the first two in the series. The angst and relationship turned a little… too sappy, maybe? We were introduced to so much new world building with little time to absorb it. Too much, too quickly. And the last few chapters were disjointed. Swapping POV when that wasn’t the norm, introducing new characters/names. It was difficult to follow and the end did not catch me the way Iron Flame did. Still a good book, though. Hopefully the next book is more like the first two.
