One of the harder 372 Pages books to get through — it put me into an ungodly reading slump. It still gets an extra half star because despite the incomprehensible plot, the ridiculous characters, the indecipherable made-up names for everything, the numerous unresolved plotlines, and a frankly baffling amount of body horror/gore for what is ostensibly a book for children, there were moments that made me genuinely laugh out loud (I don’t think they were meant to but that’s okay). Long live O’Neill!
