DNF at 60%. To be clear, the writing and storytelling itself is great. I’m actually interested in reading Nick Cutter’s other (less graphic) work. My problem is that I was unprepared for the content. I get that body horror was always going to be a big part of this story, but it wandered into areas of horror that I’m super uncomfortable with. This rating reflects my experience reading the story, not the story’s objective quality.
