Tuesdays with Morrie
by Mitch Albom
emotional
inspiring
reflective
sad
fast-paced
The reveal at the end that the author had begun writing the book to help pay for Morrie’s medical bills and had discussed this with him elevated the book by 0.5 stars.
The book has a strong theme about teaching and the role of teachers, the lifelong role of teachers and students. I loved that. I loved the metaphors of the classroom, the final course, the final student.
For readers who are looking for some direction and inspiration in their own livesand who don’t get that from a preexisting faith , this book is a good fit.
