3.5 the plot started out so strong but near the end felt very contrived. I think the strongest parts of the story were the flashbacks of Rita’s childhood. To be completely honest, the crime mystery part of the story ended up being the least compelling part and almost could have been fully excluded, instead simply focusing on Rita’s connection with ghosts and the struggle of being a bridge between the living and the dead.
