While I appreciate the amount of time spent developing the characters and building anticipation, I feel like it took entirely too long to actually reach the point of the story. However, the author beautifully and tragically captured the struggle of many women and girls when they face unfortunate circumstances that come with simply being female. It really highlights the importance of Roe V Wade and proves that when forced to face situations, we can become more powerful than we ever believed possible.
