A great book for upper elementary and middle school kids who are looking for an introduction to some of the major refugee crises of the last century. It would be interesting to see this done with more depth and power for adults, and have each story in its own book or section. The connectedness of the stories is great, but hopping between the stories did limit how absorbed a reader could be in any one situation and how much detail behind the catastrophes could be shared.
