The Life Impossible by Matt Haig
3.0
The more I think about this book, the more I’m like ehhhhhh. Did I like the weirdness of it? Absolutely. Did I appreciate the math logic that the main character brought to the story? Yes, my math brain liked that. Did I enjoy reading a book from the perspective of an older woman, a POV we don’t often see? Sure did. But I don’t see myself thinking of this one long term.
The writing was fine, it got a bit repetitive at times but it served the story well. I just don’t feel strongly enough about the plot or characters to rate it 4 stars, so I guess 3 stars it is. A fine read, something that makes you go “whaaaaaat’s happening???”, but not something that’ll keep me up at night.

Full RTC after the book club meeting, but leaning towards 3/3.5 stars.
