The Tuesday Club Murders by Agatha Christie

3.0

I didn't enjoy this as much as most of Christie's work because it was a series of stories rather than a novel-length mystery, which weakened the plot. While I love the notion of a weekly discussion of mysteries, these were so loosely connected by the literary frame of the club that I never really was drawn into any of them. However, I did enjoy how in telling each tale, hidden depths of the storytellers emerged.

Updated 12/24: 3.5 stars - reading these again with the lens of future Miss Marple's increased my enjoyment. Loved to see her establish her observational skills and wisdom against doubters, and her light sass.
