3.5 stars. A contemporary mystery novel set in rural NSW which explores the intricacies of small town life, where everyone knows everyone and secrets are everywhere. The pacing of the story felt a little off to me, with little traction through a large chunk of the middle of the book and then a bunch of information crammed into the last couple of chapters - though I did appreciate how the author wrapped up all the characters’ different storylines. Not to mention that I didn’t pick the killer until it was happening! A good read for a rainy day.
