The Winter Killer by Beth Large
3.0
I felt that there was great potential with the book. This was a short read, although it did take me quite some time to read it, so the characters felt a little packed in and the story felt a quite rushed. I expected a lot because the title and the premise were quite intriguing. The idea of a female serial killer is fascinating, and I do wish that it had been explored more in this book.
When I was reading this, I felt that there were some details that could have been omitted, and the replacement could have constituted of what goes on inside the heads of the characters in the book - what their motivations were, why they did what they did and what they felt during it all. It would have built more sympathy for the characters, and would make the read better in my opinion.
Some of the typos made the quite confusing, but overall it was a good book.
