I am not really a maternal person but I love this poem. It ingrains in you the love a mother has for her daughter.
My mom says you can’t understand the love a mom has for her children until you have children on your own, but this poem gives you all the feelings you need to understand the gut wrenching love mothers have.
I love how Sarah performed this poem in her TED talk, and i recommend listening to that before reading the poem because she just says it how it’s meant to be read and it makes ALL the difference.
