The Nobleman's Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks
by Mackenzi Lee
I enjoyed this book & thought it was just as well crafted as the other two.
However... I think the length of time it took me to finish this book (too long) as well as my attitude towards the end (I just want it to be over) showcase just how much audiobooks as a format just doesn't work for my brain.
The found family dynamics (even though they are family lol) were SO GOOD in this one. It was also quite cool to see Monty and Felicity as full-grown adults, and I think the author actually did a good job portraying them as messy but experienced versions of who they were in their books as teens.
Also can we just talk about the fact that only one of the three books in this series has a romance plot??? This just goes to show that not every silly little YA book needs a romance plot to slay, so take notes people ✍️
