My first Joe Pickett novel. Easy and quick read. My understanding is this was a little more "out there" than his other Pickett novels. A small suspension of belief may be needed, but realistic enough.
I normally stick to horror and read a little nature thriller, and this for a little of the former, a lot of the latter.
I will go back to the first book and begin reading thru the other Joe Pickett novels in order because of this book.
Overall, a quick fun read with not a lot of character depth and not a strong plot line, but enough to keep your attention and definitely better than a cheesy B movie style book.
