Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

5.0

Adichie weaves characters together so beautifully. At the heart of the plot is a love story, and the characters and themes fan out from there. The blogs are a useful device to deliver clever commentary and complement the story well, the entries never felt forced or unrelated. The narrator's terrible American accent imitation drove home how annoying American English must sound to those not born in to it.
