This is such an important read. Dr. Kendi presents an incredibly detailed timeline of racist ideologies (and systemic racism) in America - from the founding of the country to present day. It took me a long time to read, partly because I kept having to pause to do further research on events Kendi outlines in this book. Many libraries (and even Spotify!) are offering the eBook and/or audiobook for free right now - it's definitely a must-read for everyone wanting to do the work of educating themselves of race issues in the US.
