This is a beautiful story between two friends who have been very close since they were children. No matter what life throws at them or the distance that can sometimes separate them, their friendship never wavered. That's how strong and deep it is.
They are really affectionate, supportive of each other, and provide comfort to each other when they need it. Case in point, Cassius was traumatized by a situation he went through as a teenager, it was Dylan who helped him overcome it. And now, when Dylan needs help raising his nephew as his own, the first one to be there to help him is Cassius. And it is from there that the feelings that were dormant, or hidden, during all those years of friendship, begin to emerge. They soon realize that there is much, much more between them than a strong and special friendship.
