The book was fine. It had cute moments, but it felt cookie cutter.
There weren't a lot of really going terms of like drama suspense when I compared it with book 1. Of ash and some parts annoyed me and glencarlo erratic behavior.

My favorite part was definitely the picnic and the proposal♥️🥺
The gloves were cute🥺♥️

It's not my favorite, which is a pity because the beginning was giving. It was giving
Forced proximity, marriage of convenience forced arranged marriage type of vibe.

But the direction they took in terms of like Ash being overly clingy killed it for me.

With that being said, I understand why they gave gincarlo a clingy partner, Based on the way  he was alone when you went to prison,
That's alone made it that he's not as close to Benito as Enzo is, Also , him been locked away made him put people at an arms length not being comfortable with having close relationships as trauma response,

It would make sense to give him a partner that fully depends on him so he can feel needed. Since it's likely that Enzo will go to Benito for help, Benito will go to Enzo for help before they go to GinCarlo since they see him as not responsible,
