Although this is an inspiring story, I found some of the details a bit hard to believe. Specifically, I felt there was a disconnect between the apparent absolute reclusion of her family/their attitudes toward formal education, and her ability to access things such as financial aid, entrance exams etc. There were quite a few instances where I suspect she exaggerated elements of her story. Nonetheless, an interesting story.
