I loved Breathe for me and was very excited for book 2 in this duet. I have been I love with Brittany’s work since Batter Up and ADORE the way she weaves Easter eggs into her books. The way she has shaped her universe to all tie in together is an ART Form that people should take notes on.
I do not have mental health issues like any of the characters but to see them being taken care of as they worked through their traumas and to be so respectful was a form of love in itself.
For me I gave it 4.25 cause I wanted a bit more from the ending. It felt a bit fast for all the lead up done in both this book and the last. I also wanted to know a bit more about what Billie and cane were doing back home to keep tabs on moonie. I would have wanted to possibly see Mason building trust the the guys and to take moonie down. <spoilers>
