Did not finish book. Stopped at 68%.

the first book wasn't great but this one was difficult to get through, even in audiobook form. i know violet's literally the main character but can we get through one chapter without everyone talking about how she's so powerful and amazing and god's gift. even xaden gets done dirty in this book, he's not allowed to care about protecting his home more than he does about violet. every chapter ends with a shitty cliffhanger and violet saying something like "well, that happened." this book was never edited i swear.
