Emery and Micah grew up as part of the Ravage MC family. Emery was the only one that Micah got close with, she knew he didn't want to be part of the MC and he let it be known. When Emery and Micah left for college, they got closer and Emery thought Micah shared the same intense feelings she had, she couldn't have been more wrong. Emery moves back home after a family emergency taking her classes online instead. She is finding her stride again when Micah shows up at the MC, she is shook up over his appearance but MC member Jacks steps in and takes her side.
Micah realizes he made mistakes where Emery is concerned, he knows he has wrongs to fix. He also wants to win Emery back but will she let him?
Jacks has had his eye on Emery for awhile, when Micah comes back he realizes its time to stake his claim. Will Emery choose him instead of Micah?
There is so much to this story that goes down and you are not sure which path Emery will go. I thought this was a bit angstier then the other books in the series but overall a gripping story. If you are looking for a new MC story to try that has several books, this is one to pick up. All so far are really good.
