Enemies to Lovers but with a past history. The sequel bait scene from the previous book was delicious, and the steamy scenes in this book lived up to the hype.

I loved the book mainly for Solveig. I like alpha females who know what they want, even if it’s a little (a lot) clouded by thwarted desire and bruised ego.

I was curious about the Big Bad that was hinted from the previous books, and I felt that the plot kinda jumped the shark, meaning it’s a little over the top. Then I remembered that I was reading fantasy romance, so anything zany goes!
