I had been looking forward to reading this for a really long time, but it ended up disappointing. I enjoyed the writing, the story had potential and started off strong, but it ended up feeling repetitive and unnecessary. I found it really difficult to connect to the main character and didn’t like the unhealthy fetishizing. Most of the story was dragged out then suddenly the ending felt rushed and it didn’t really feel like there was much of a resolution, but that could have just been because I was ready for it to be over so I could move on.
