The author in a back note says the book is tells his own artivist journey. One of his illustrations went viral, and he realized how powerful art can be for working towards a more fair and just society.
Reminds me of the ridiculous claim that some republican was making that actors shouldn't be allowed to express their political views after the awards. That art should be politically neutral....
