At first I really liked it. Fast paced and draws you in. I think Laurel was a bit slow, (I knew they were wings as soon as I realized it was between her shoulder blades!)but I guess I have read a lot of fiction... Anyways **SPOILERS CAUTION!!** At the end, I was like, "YES! She chose David!!" but then she kisses the other guy and says she has to live in the human world and will come back someday. Then I'm like, "Wait, so she's choosing David because he's human and is going to dump him when she gets to go live with the faeries? That makes no sense." I like to think she chose David but I'm taking a star for the boy confusion at the end.
