Greywalker

Fairly typical urban fantasy, with a slightly more kick-ass heroine than you'd expect, considering that it was written before the era of Strong Female Characters. The Seattle scenery was nice, and most of the landmarks were familiar from when I used to live there. The only part that is extremely dated is the technology, or lack thereof -- the heroine is forever getting calls on her pager and wishing she had a cellular phone.
