Who doesn’t love a fairytale retelling? I sure as hell do, and this Peter Pan retelling is to die for.

Hook is consumed by the need of vengeance against Peter, the man who killed father, among other things. Wendy has everything, being the daughter of a successful businessman, but her life lacks excitement until Hook barrages into her life. Will they find their happily ever after, despite the blood and revenge?

The story was great and Hook is definitely the dark haired morally gray character all of us love. Wendy was sooo boring in the beginning but started a good character development soon in the book so I forgive that. Hook and Wendy’s relationship is dark, so if you don’t like that please don’t read this book, but is also beautiful and one of my favorites.

“You want to watch the world burn?”
“Let me guess, you’ll set it on fire?”
“No, darling. I’ll hand you the match, and stand at your back, watching you become queen of the ashes.”
