Child star restores her famous granny's farm, discovers a mystery, and tangles with her hot neighbour, a graphic novelist. Great set up: the past/the present, the mystery, the relationships. Loved them both - she's bold, competent with very realistic hang-ups. He's one of NR's best heroes - sweet, caring, nerdy, assertive but not overbearing.

I adored their romance and the natural process of it, with plenty of heat, tenderness and love. The way he listens, supports and cares for her is 😘! And he based a super character on her, which is way cool. The suspense blends well with the romance, it all flows smoothly, but the ending is a tad rushed. Still a great read, the house flipping parts are fun to me and Spock the dog rules.
