Not as good as others but good easy reading
It might have been because I didn't read it around Christmas time that I found this book a bit lacking compared to the others. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it, I thought Tamsyn was fantastic and she and Bowen were a cute couple, but I didn't follow the plot completely. It felt a little like the author had a bunch of tropes they wanted to get into the plot, but hadn't thought so much about the plot. Or it might just be me not understanding the magic. But I feel like it could have done with a little more explanation - it felt a bit like a fanfic to me, which isn't a bad thing, buying just felt it needed a little more.
