While I totally understand the problematic elements of this series, I can't deny the fact that its purely entertaining. Unlike, several Historical Romance that I've dnf'ed this one somehow dodged the blow with its quick-wit, snappy dialogues and snippy characters. I really love Kate and Edwina's dynamic almost as much as that of Bridgerton siblings. Although, ending was a bit too basic like the author was trying too hard to add some literary air into this books. I really disliked the downright sexist undertones of the male figures, glad that show is trying to steer clear of such bumpy roads.
Looking forward to read other siblings stories.
