I've completely changed my mind and become aware of things my younger self didn't notice while reading. I think the man who wrote the review I linked to is right though I do like the concept of the book and found it engaging to read, which is why I'm giving it two stars instead of one.
Normally I wouldn't change my rating of a book I read so long ago, but the last thing I want is to contribute to the spread of such incorrect information, especially regarding an event so tragic.
