This was a first by this author for me and it will absolutely not be the last. Things progressed quickly and you honestly stay guessing about possible twists until the very last page, or at least I did. Every time I thought I might have it figured out, I was hit with a little bit of information that had me shook about what was to come. I literally was guessing until the end and was wrong about all but one of my guesses, and I ain’t even mad at that. It’s that well done! I found myself laying my kindle down just to stare at my imaginary audience and exclaim about how I couldn’t believe what was happening. The progress of the story flows so well, it’s like as soon as you get those first chapters in (which are written on the shorter side) you’re hooked and not wanting it to end. I held off reading the last 20% just because I didn’t want it to end! Freida has herself a new fan and I simply cannot recommend this book enough for fans of psychological thrillers/mysteries.
